Join the Salt Lake Elementary School Service Groups (Conflict Mediators, Junior Police Officers, Library Club, Mall Patrol and Student Council) for a Fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM!

Get ready to explore the best of Hawaiian and Pacific-themed literature! Our first annual Bess Press Book Fair is officially underway, bringing wonderful new books to our students and supporting our school. A percentage of all Book Fair sales will directly benefit our Salt Lake Elementary Student Service Groups!

Our Annual Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in October. Parent Teacher Conferences for students in Grades K-5 will be on October 22nd - October 31, 2025
Students in Grade 6 will be having Student Led Conferences from October 27th - October 29th. Note that during Parent-Teacher conferences, school ends at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for all students. Wednesday release time will remain at 1:15 p.m.

Our Diamond Bakery Cookie Fundraiser Pick up is on Saturday, October 25th from 8:00-11:30 am in the Salt Lake Elementary Cafeteria. Families will need the yellow confirmation form to pick up their cookie order. Confirmation Forms were distributed on Wednesday 10/22. Thank you for supporting our Fall Fundraiser!

Aiea Complex Presents 4th Annual Trunk or Treat at the Salt Lake District Park on October 24, 2025 from 5:00-7:30 PM

Kenneth’s Photography will be on campus for Fall Portraits on Wednesday October 1-2, 2025. Grades 3-6 will be taking pictures on Wednesday October 1st and Grades K-2 on October 2nd. SLES uniforms are not required for picture taking. Attire must comply with the student dress code in the Student and Parent Handbook. READ FULL STORY for more information!

Together with the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, SLES is hosting a 3Rs School Recycling Drive on Saturday, September 13th from 9:00-11:00 am in our school parking lot. This is an opportunity for families and community members to drop off a variety of items to ReUse and ReCycle! All proceeds from redeemable HI-5 containers, scrap metal and used cooking oil will be donated to the SLES Student Council.

SLES has partnered with Diamond Bakery for our Fall Fundraiser. Students and staff members will be selling Cotton Candy, Cookies and Creme, Mini Chocolate Chip or the 30 bag Variety Box. Cookies are $10 each. $5 from each bag sold comes back to SLES! Money raised will be used to pay for school programs that support your child’s school experience, student planners & supplementing the cost of Field Trips for EVERY Salt Lake Elementary School (SLES) student. Please know that EVERYONE'S participation makes a huge difference!
