Our Annual Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in October. Parent Teacher Conferences for students in Grades K-5 will be on October 23th - November 1st.
Students in Grade 6 will be having Student Led Conferences from October 28th - October 30th. Note that during Parent-Teacher conferences, school ends at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for all students. Wednesday release time will remain at 1:15 p.m.

Kenneth's Photography and Salt Lake Elementary School are hosting their annual Holiday Photo Fundraiser on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 8:00-3:30 pm in our school library. Proceeds from this community event will benefit SLES Programs and student intiatives.

Kenneth’s Photography will be on campus for Fall Portraits on Wednesday October 2-3, 2024. Grades 3-6 will be taking pictures on Wednesday October 2nd and Grades K-2 on October 3rd. SLES uniforms are not required for picture taking. Attire must comply with the student dress code in the Student and Parent Handbook pg. 37-38. READ FULL STORY for more information!

SLES has partnered with Diamond Bakery for our Fall Fundraiser. Students and staff members will be selling Cotton Candy, Cookies and Creme or Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies. Cookies are $10 per bag. $5 from each bag sold goes back to SLES!
Money raised will be used to pay for school programs that support your child’s school experience, student planners & supplementing the cost of Field Trips for EVERY Salt Lake Elementary School (SLES) student. Please know that EVERYONE'S participation makes a huge difference!

Together with the Kokua Hawaii Foundation, SLES is hosting a 3Rs School Recycling Drive on Saturday, September 21st from 9:00-11:00 am in our school parking lot. This is an opportunity for families and community members to drop off a variety of items to ReUse and ReCycle! All proceeds from redeemable HI-5 containers, scrap metal and used cooking oil will be donated to the SLES Student Council.

Welcome Back SLES Dolphins to the beginning of another exciting school year!  The first day for students in Grades 1-6 is on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.  Grade K Parent Orientation will be at 8:30 am in the cafeteria followed by the classroom orientations.  At 9:45 am there will be a Grade K Parent Workshop in the Library to provide some tips and strategies to help students with the transition to kindergarten.

The last day of school has arrived! School ends at 2:05 pm. Have a restful and rejuvenating Summer break. We look forward to seeing you at Meet & Greet on August 1st.
