Dear Parents and Guardians,
I know there has been much talk about the possibility of our water supply being contaminated stemming from the jet fuel leak in the Red Hill area. In the Star Advertiser last week, they mentioned that Salt Lake Elementary is one of the affected schools. I was shocked and concerned to see that Salt Lake Elementary School was listed in the paper as one of the schools. However, I have been assured that we are NOT affected by the contamination and should not have been listed. I have gotten verification from the Board of Water Supply and the State on this matter.
