Our counselors are Mr. Tyron Kitashima (PreK,1, 3, 5) and Ms. Laura Willcox (K, 2, 4, 6, ).

At Salt Lake the school counselors promote the academic, career, and personal/social development of our students by performing the following roles:
- Individual counseling
- Group counseling
- Classroom guidance
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and students
- Providing information and resources to parents
- Responding to school crises and emergencies
- Advising students in service groups
