Mrs. Contee's Homeroom
Hi! I'm Mrs. Contee. This will be my 13th year of teaching! I've been teaching here at
SLES for 8 of those years. Most of you might already know me because I've been your computer teacher. This year I'm going to be teaching 5th grade. I'm excited and a little nervous for us to begin our distance learning journey. We'll be exploring a lot of tech tools and reading fun stories as we build our language, writing, reading, math, science, and social studies skills and knowledge.
I love to travel with my husband. Singapore 🇸🇬, Japan 🇯🇵, and Canada 🇨🇦 are a few of the places we've been to. I hope we get to travel more soon! While we've all been spending so much time at home, I've been working on my garden, enjoying reading and putting together puzzles! 😊
Math - We have started math with place value and we are understanding decimals. Play one or all of these decimal games to brush up on your skills!
